Andrew Hubbard is a well-known commentator on taxation matters. He is a former president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians. He is editor-in-chief of Taxation magazine and a consultant at RSM. He was the tax writer of the year at the 2006 Taxation awards.

The relaxation in the timetable for Making Tax Digital (MTD) has taken the pressure off for most tax advisers. But MTD will still happen and advisers still need to understand what will be required and what they need to be talking to their clients about now. In particular the new rules for digital record keeping will put new obligations on businesses – the presentation will highlight some of the record-keeping issues which need to be considered.
